My FAN MADE trailer concept for Blumhouse's upcoming sequel/reboot to the classic 1978 horror movie, Halloween. I'm beyond excited for this movie to come out in October and see Michael Myers return to the big screen. Everything I've seen/heard so far has got me even more pumped. I hear the direction of the film will be similar to the original and will boast spectacular craftsmanship, artistry, and simple, haunting, in-the-shadows terror. And most importantly the OG Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning as Laurie Strode!!! After 40 years!!!

I'm also really excited to see what director David Gordon Green has up his sleeve because everything about this film sounds so promising. And it's so interesting to see how all these comedians have recently been making serious, quality horror films. Jordan Peele wowed us with Get Out (and even won Oscars for the film, which is groundbreaking for the genre) and John Krasinski also displayed his talent in the masterfully made A Quiet Place.

If you're worried about the rumors that this new Halloween got poorly received at a test screening, don't be. First of all, it's just a rumor from one source. Also, in late 2016 I went to a test screening of IT and was extremely disappointed/underwhelmed by it (and everybody else seemed to be too), but when I saw the final product, it blew me away. Rough cuts don't define a final product's quality.
