This year's event features more mazes than ever with 8 terrifying mazes based on the most frightening films and television shows - including the demented Roanoke chapter of FX's American Horror Story and one of the greatest horror films of all time - Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.

Halloween Horror Nights (formerly known as Fright Nights) is an annual special event that occurs at Universal Studios Florida, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Singapore, and Universal Studios Japan. Universal Studios remains operational during the day and transitions to Halloween Horror Nights at night. The event features haunted houses, "scare zones", and live entertainment; many of which utilize Universal's characters and other licenses. It is a seasonal event in the Fall of the year, tied to Halloween.

The event is not recommended for children under 13 years old because it contains themes of terror and violence, as well as strong language.
